35 Anniversary Mark Design for Shin Ramen

As the designer tasked with creating the hero asset/mark for the campaign, I sought to develop a visual identity that captured both the heritage and strength of Shin Ramyun’s signature spicy flavor. Drawing inspiration from traditional Korean symbolism, I illustrated a tiger, a powerful and revered figure in Korean culture, incorporating the character for "spicy" (매운) seamlessly into its stripe pattern. This fusion of cultural elements reinforced the fiery and dynamic essence of the product while making an immediate visual impact.
Results
It was prominently featured on limited-edition packaging, promotional materials, and social media campaigns, effectively strengthening the brand’s storytelling and consumer engagement. Through Nongshim’s social media channels, the campaign reached
Over 10 Million Impressions
amplifying its reach and reinforcing the bold, spicy essence of Shin Ramyun to a wide audience. The Campaign lasted through February of 2022.
